One of my favorite kayaking trips is an up and back on the Duck river near Columbia, Tennessee. Starting from Chickasaw Trace boat ramp. The water is calm enough to paddle upstream for a mile or two and then just return down stream. Its a very scenic trip, no whitewater but the best part is that it only requires one vehicle!
